ABOUT US

PETRA CIVIL EXPO

is the biggest annual competition held by the Civil Engineering Department of Petra Christian University. Serving as a platform for innovation and collaboration among future engineers.

In Bridge Competition, senior high school and university students will participate in a series of activities ranging from workshops and rally games to model bridge design. This competition serves as a learning platform for participants to understand the dynamics of bridge structures, gain memorable experiences, and sharpen their critical thinking skills.

The Earthquake Resistant Design Competition invites university students to design and test earthquake-resistant building models using a shaking table. Through real-time structural testing, participants will gain deeper insights into the dynamic behavior of structures and the importance of seismic mitigation. This competition aims to raise awareness of earthquake resilience while fostering innovation in safe and sustainable building design for Indonesia.

In Lomba Kuat Tekan Beton, participants are challenged to produce low clinker high strength concrete cylinder specimens and test their compressive strength. This competition provides a learning platform for students to understand the characteristics of concrete and explore innovations, particularly in developing environmentally friendly high strength concrete.

Answer:

What if I cannot attend one of the competition activities?

All participants are expected to attend the entire series of events from start to finish. If you are unable to attend a certain activity, please contact the Competition Contact Person listed on the poster.
Where will PCE be held?

All offline events will be held at Petra Christian University, Surabaya. Specifically for the Final Day, all activities will take place in a mall in Surabaya.
Will participants receive meals during the event?

Yes, Meals or refreshments will be provided during offline activities with a longer duration.
Is accommodation provided for participants from outside Surabaya or East Java?

All accommodation and lodging expenses will be the responsibility of the participants.
What time will the activities take place?

The detailed schedule and timings will be informed later through the participant group.
